In a warm and caring atmosphere, Wind in The Willows Out of School Care aims to provide a safe and stimulating programme which caters for the different ages, gender and cultural backgrounds of the children attending. Many of our wonderful staff have teaching/ childcare qualifications.
We offer:
- Before School Care 7.30 – 8.30 am.
- After School Care 3.00 – 5.30 pm
- School Holiday Programmes 7.45 am – 5.30 pm.
Our venue is The Waikato Chinese Community Centre, 47 Lewis Street, Glenview, Hamilton.
We provide care for children attending Glenview Primary School.
We may have places available for children attending other Primary Schools, but no transport is provided.
Wind in The Willows Out of School Care is an approved OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) provider.
Childcare subsidies for our programme can be obtained through Work and Income.
Our programme consists of:
- A nourishing afternoon tea
- Exciting craft activities
- Organized game sessions
- A variety of both educational and fun equipment
- Help with homework and reading.
